The holiday season is a time to relive cherished traditions, and for Chestnut Hill, there is no better tradition than spending a day enjoying the Christmas Holiday House tour. Presented annually by the Chestnut Hill Community Association (CHCA), this year’s tour will feature five of the area’s loveliest historic homes decorated for the holidays. Get into the holiday spirit with a day spent touring a variety of dramatic homes and find inspiration for your Holiday celebrations, while experiencing the rich architectural heritage of Chestnut Hill.

Make it a day in Chestnut Hill! Many restaurants and shops will be offering discounts for Christmas Holiday House Tour attendees, and our event trolleys will stop at each house on the tour, and along Germantown Avenue.

Attendees are invited to return to the Woodmere Art Museum when they finish the tour, between 3:30 and 4:30 pm to enjoy a holiday reception with light refreshments and to explore the galleries. The current exhibit, A Grand Vision: Violet Oakley and the American Renaissance is exceptional and not to be missed!

To begin the tour: Attendees must stop by one of our two egistration locations: Woodmere Art Museum, 9201 Germantown Avenue, or Hill Company, 8040 Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill to pick up their tour booklet, map and wristband. The tour is self-guided and attendees have the option of driving to the homes, or riding one of our special event trolleys. Free parking is avaiable at Woodmere Art Musuem, at Hill Company on-street parking is available.

Be sure to print and bring your ticket to the tour! We will also have you on our registration sign-in list.
